This is a DEPOSIT ONLY to reserve your chickens.  you need to place a deposit for each chicken you want.  Chickens will be priced at $4.75/ lb on whole birds.  Our first process date is June 18th and another on July 2nd.  We are selling these on a first come basis.  You will need to pick up your birds on the process date or the following day at our farm.  We will email you a couple weeks before to remind you and then the week of to make sure you can make it.  If you need to change your pickup day, please email or call us to get it moved.    Balance is due at pickup.

We raise a small number of chickens each year.  Our chickens are big, and delicious.  They are pasture raised on our farm in McKinney where they dine on a wide variety of bugs, grasses, seeds, legumes, and whatever else they can find, they are fed a daily ration of a NON GMO and NON Soy feed along with sprouted sunflower seeds.  If you come to the farm this summer, you can see these guys as they grow.  There is a huge difference in taste between pasture raised birds and factory farmed birds.  It is hard to go back to store bought chicken after you have one of ours.

They will be fresh, never frozen.  Most of our birds finish between 4 and 6 pounds.  We have had birds smaller, and we have had them bigger, but that’s the average.

Chickens are $4.75/lb.

We are releasing 75 chickens for the June 18th processing date now.  We will release additional birds for the July 2nd processing day later this month.

We will have several additional batches coming throughout the year, so if you want more, you can get them!

Feed costs have risen dramatically this year.  Whole chickens will be priced at $4.75 per pound this year.  by pre-ordering, you will save 50 cents a pound and help us out by not having to deplete our reserves because of covering all the upfront costs.
